Dear Leaders and Ministry Partners,

Grace and peace to each of you. I want to take a moment to thank you for joining our recent Gifted Ministries Fellowship International leadership check in call. It was truly a blessing to gather together in fellowship, hear the progress of the ministries represented, and strengthen our shared commitment to the work God has entrusted to us.

During the call we were joined by several leaders across the fellowship network and friends including Pastor Rodney Primus and Pastor Linda Primus of Pisgah Ministries, Pastor Justin Relf and Pastor Carrie Relf of Rhema, Apostle Wimberly of Open Arms Christian Ministries, Bishop Archie of Simple Truth Ministries, Pastor Jerome Williams of Redeeming Faith, Overseer King of Gifted, Minister Wendy Riley of One Accord Christian Church and Broken But Not Forgotten, Mother Minister Theresa Phillips of Red Tent Women’s Ministries, Minister Rashonda of Siblings Speak and Exec Pastor Lashelle Bolton of Glory Not Guilt, Incorporated.

We were also grateful to have special invited guests present from Pisgah Ministries and Redeeming Faith. Their presence and engagement in the discussion were appreciated and welcomed as part of the broader fellowship community.

It was encouraging to hear the progress taking place within many of the ministries. Several leaders shared updates regarding youth Bible studies, discipleship initiatives, outreach efforts, missions preparation, and the continued rebuilding and strengthening of ministry teams. These reports were a reminder that even in seasons of challenge, God continues to advance His work through faithful leaders.

During our time together I shared a brief leadership reflection based on the example of Nehemiah. We discussed how effective ministry requires both spiritual devotion and intentional leadership. Nehemiah demonstrated the importance of prayer, observation, casting vision, organizing the work, and protecting the mission. These principles remain a powerful biblical model for ministry leadership today.

I also reaffirmed the vision of Gifted Ministries Fellowship International and reminded us of the four pillars that guide our fellowship: Convening, Counseling, Covenant, and Capacity Building. Our goal is not simply to gather leaders but to strengthen and equip ministries so that each of us can more effectively serve our communities and advance the Kingdom of God.

We also discussed upcoming fellowship initiatives including the annual gathering scheduled for September and the men’s retreat planned for November. In the months ahead we will also continue developing monthly prayer calls and additional training opportunities that will help strengthen the leaders and ministries connected to this fellowship.

As we concluded our meeting, I encouraged everyone to remain faithful to the call God has placed on your lives. The strength of this fellowship is found in our unity, our willingness to support one another, and our shared commitment to building ministries that honor Christ and serve people well.

Leadership Council Meeting Minutes

Call to Order

The meeting of the Gifted Ministries Fellowship International Leadership Council was called to order by Bishop Robert J. Bolton. The purpose of the meeting was to provide fellowship connection, review ministry progress across the network, and offer strategic and spiritual guidance for the continued development of the fellowship and its member ministries.

Review of Ministry Progress

Leaders provided brief updates regarding the development and progress of their ministries.

One Accord Christian Church reported continued engagement with youth through a recently launched youth Bible study initiative that has begun to attract participation from younger members and continues to develop as a discipleship opportunity.

Open Arms Christian Ministries shared updates regarding youth ministry activity and preparations for an upcoming missions trip to Panama. The ministry requested prayer support from the fellowship due to spiritual opposition and logistical challenges surrounding the mission work.

Rhema Ministries reported ongoing ministry growth, including preparations for an upcoming pastoral anniversary celebration during Resurrection weekend. The ministry also reported continued development of youth programs and leadership strengthening within the church.

Pisgah Ministries shared operational improvements following the SWOT analysis exercise, including adjustments to service timing that have improved ministry flow and visitor engagement practices that have strengthened connections with guests. Growth was also noted within the youth ministry and music ministry.

Simple Truth Ministries shared updates regarding the rebuilding of the ministry following its relaunch in November 2025. While attendance rebuilding continues, the ministry reported faithful support from members and emerging outreach opportunities within the surrounding community.

Pastor Jerome reported that his ministry is currently strengthening internal structures, including the development of media and technology teams, with plans to begin monthly discipleship gatherings following Resurrection Sunday.

Red Tent Women’s Ministries reported continued outreach to women affected by substance abuse and domestic violence and is exploring opportunities to expand services through partnerships with shelters and additional outreach locations.

Glory Not Guilt Incorporated reported continued development of its mentorship initiatives for young women and the ongoing digital encouragement series known as Glory Boost.

Overseer King shared updates regarding the strengthening of the men’s ministry and the implementation of leadership delegation strategies in order to support sustainability and prevent leadership burnout.

Leadership Reflection

Bishop Bolton provided a leadership reflection based on the biblical example of Nehemiah. Leaders were reminded that effective ministry leadership requires both spiritual devotion and strategic planning.

Fellowship Vision and Alignment

Bishop Bolton reaffirmed the mission of Gifted Ministries Fellowship International and reminded leaders of the fellowship’s guiding pillars:

Leaders were encouraged to continue strengthening fellowship communication by sharing ministry updates, announcements, and events through the fellowship’s digital communication platforms.

Upcoming Fellowship Initiatives

The council reviewed several upcoming fellowship initiatives.

The annual gathering of Gifted Ministries Fellowship International will take place in September and will include fellowship sessions, leadership development, and ministry recognitions including ordinations, elevations, and catechism where appropriate.

The fellowship men’s retreat is scheduled for November. Leaders were encouraged to identify men within their ministries who would benefit from participating.

Plans were also discussed to establish monthly prayer calls and additional leadership training opportunities to strengthen fellowship alignment and support ministry development.

Apostolic Charge

In his closing remarks, Bishop Bolton encouraged the leaders to remain steadfast in their calling and committed to strengthening their ministries through prayer, discipline, and intentional leadership. He emphasized the importance of unity among leaders and reminded the fellowship that the purpose of the network is to equip ministries and strengthen the Body of Christ through shared wisdom, support, and accountability.

Action Items

Leaders were encouraged to continue sharing ministry updates and upcoming events through the fellowship communication channels.

Leaders were asked to identify participants for upcoming fellowship initiatives including the men’s retreat and annual gathering.

Leaders were encouraged to remain connected through prayer and ongoing fellowship engagement.

Adjournment

The meeting concluded with prayer offered by Bishop Archie, asking for continued wisdom, unity, and fruitfulness across the ministries represented in the fellowship.
